Itsy Bitsy Fritsy: FYI
(go to the beginning)
Hi, Everyone. It’s me again! Your host. (Scott C. Remember me?)
Well. As mentioned, I’ve been away from my computer the past few days. I was working on my trust and control issues by letting new $5,000 guest blogger Fritzi Webber have free reign in my absence.
That didn’t work out so well.
Catching up on her posts just now, I’m shocked. We certainly never discussed murder as an acceptable topic. I was lead to believe she wanted to go “all Charlotte’s Web” on the homeowner, which was a bit on the disturbing side, but reasonably non-violent. She said she wanted to send him a message.
Yet, I’m drawn into her narrative. What’s going to happen? (Or what has already happened?) Can a spider really take down a man? It seems unlikely.
But, wait. No. I should probably try to warn…
What am I going to do? Call the police? Tell them a spider is planning to kill someone, somewhere?
Maybe we’ll just see how it plays out. She may have already, um, executed her plan by now. I’ve sent an email, but no response yet. If she’s not a black widow or a brown recluse, it should be a fair enough match up, right?
I guess we’ll have to look for another posting today.
(I almost wrote “hope for” instead of look. Is it bad if I’m looking forward to the next installment and maybe even rooting for Fritzi to succeed?)
And I’m off to work now. I wanted to say thanks for giving Fritzi a chance, and sorry if she’s offended anyone’s sensibilities.
