a note about site search
Google search is king. I’ve included a search box at the top of the right sidebar that searches the Google index for pages from this web site only. Another Google search form appears at the top of the search results page, and lets you use Google to search the entire Internet (or at least a large chunk of it), or just movingtofreedom.org. But! Their index may not have the latest information; pages and posts that have been recently updated or added may be waiting for a visit from the Googlebot.
The site search in the footer and on the search result page is a WordPress plugin that will search all current posts, comments, and pages at movingtofreedom.org. It doesn’t display results by relevance (instead it simply sorts chronologically) and it doesn’t highlight the search term in the results summary (the term might not even be in the summary, although if you click on the “more” link you will find it there). Still, it’s a good plugin that greatly improves on WordPress’s out-of-the-box search. (And it doesn't rely on The Man.)
